I would only look for a Sony Bravia or a Samsung.
These are the 2 best LCD Tvs around at the moment.

If you are buying for gaming purposes only i would strongly suggest you consider a Plasma screen as they dont lag in picture ( plasma display fast moving images better than a LCD ).
Buy a good quality screen means - BRAND NAMES ONLY.
1. Sony
2. Samsung.

NOTE :
When Bryan Y says his friends Samsung out-performs his Sony Bravia ( which I find that hard to believe ) I bet the reason is his Tv is truly HD ( 1080p ) and the other isnt (720p)
or one of the x-boxes is connected via a HDMI cable and the other isnt.

There would be a simple reason because Sony is BETTER than Samsung.

I will let you in on a secret -
Sony Bravia series and Samsung Full HD LCD Tvs come out of the same Sony factory, so how can Samsung be better if they are made by Sony ? Easy , THERE NOT.

Samsung is the right way to go they make they are the leading brand in TV"s right now sligthly in fron of sony. A 32 inch samsun TV will be perfect to play your x-box on. My buddy has a 32 inch samsung tv and i have a 32 inch sony bravia tv and we both have an x-box system when i play my x-box on my tv it doesnt nearly compare to his ! its just way better playing x-box in a samsung TV. Go for the Samsung LNT-3242H there are two types of 32 inch samsung tv's and the only difference is between them is the constration which isnt really a big deal.

If you are tight on cash, get something like a vizio. My sister has had one for a year and it is good.
If money is not an issue, go for a samsung, sharp, or mitsubishi.
