Which LCD HDTV should i go for?

pickler asked: I watch a lot of movies (1080i through cable tv) and lots of sd programing at 480p all from cable. need advice for a 50″ hdtv
There are three im considering:
1. Sony Bravia KDL-50W4100
2. Samsung LN52-A650
3. Samsung LN52-A550
i don’t know which one to go for, i know that the sony has 8bit colour compare [...]
