Well, I work in magnolia home theater at a best buy, so i could help you out.

Samsung has been one of the top manufactures in lcd televisions for the past 3 yrs. now, i actually sold 4 of those t.v.'s that you are looking at, it is a 2006 model for samsung, a popular tv for older couples and h.s. grads. I have not had one of those returned for any bad reasons except they just wanted a bigger screen. You could also go with a sony, nothing against them, but just remember, you will be paying for the name.lol. Oh and another fun fact, samsung makes sony's intercore parts...

I used to play games on an older Samsung 23" LCD, and didn't notice much ghosting, but I'm not really sensitive to ghosting, either. Anyway, there should be a "Game Mode" on the TV, so enable that if you want to play games and that should help by skipping a lot of the image processing to reduce input lag.

As far as 32" LCDs go, this Samsung is only so-so. For around the same amount of money I think you'd be better off with the Sony Bravia KDL-32ML130. It's about $70 more but you'll be much happier. They're both only 720p so don't expect them to look like 1080p TVs.
