Im in the market for a new hdtv and I want to know which ones can handle 3d?

Robin Goodfellow asked:

I know it’ll be some time before the 3d stuff is widely available but as I can afford to spend several grand now I figured it would be a good idea to get it now, after doing a bit of homework. My understanding is that the tv has to have a certain refresh rate, i may be wrong. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

AMD HD3D Technology Test with Panasonic 3D HDTV (iZ3D)

Connecting a Panasonic 3D HDTV (TX-P50VT20E) together with a PC equipped with an ATI Radeon HD 5970 video card using latest Catalyst 10.10c along with the newest iZ3D Driver over the HDMI interface for use with stereoscopic 3D content. Unfortunately the results were not that great - although the depth could be seenen, the annoying flashing of the image and artifacts appearing randomly totally ruin the experience. Apparently the TX-P50VT20E is not yet compatible with AMD’s solution for 3D, although it works just fine with Nvidia’s 3DTV Play…

I want to import my 3d animation into Adobe Premire which is in HDTV (1920×1080) but it comes out cropped! I even change the frame settings in the general settings tab but when I export/edit/whatever premiere still crops it. How do I make it recognize my file is 1920×1080?
How do you reply to messages ?!??!?!?!?!!

How do you change the video output on a ps3 from HDMI to RGB?

October 26th, 2011
hdmi
theiceman1176 asked:

Please dont say go throught the settings menu because Ive tried that and it was very frustrating. I set it up, told it switch to RGB, plugged in the rgb cables, and waited, and it went back to the setup screen.

Now the tv I want to play on doesn’t have an HDMI input, so im screwed because I get no video what so ever. Im more frustrated than anything else because Sony is basically saying you can only play on 1 television and if you set it up for 1 youre stuck playing on that 1. It should detect automatically or have an external switch. Can anyone help or am I just not playing today?

How do I run HDMI 160 feet without breaking the bank?

hdmi
John asked:

I want to run HDMI from our basement media room to our upstairs computer room. The run is about 160 feet. Some people say really heavy gauge HDMI cable, but that’s expensive and may or may not work with any given equipment. Some say HDMI to Cat 6 adapters, but others have also complained of issues with their particular equipment. I’m flummoxed!
