   if i was u, id get a samsung LCD 1080P hdtv. 1080p is a lot better than 1080i, and samsung has some really nice ones out.

   Every hdtv looks different to every person. I would advise you go to your local HH Gregg and pick out your favorite tv and then haggle with the salesperson. This is the only place you can do that…

   Post your budget and what screen size you need/want and you’ll get some help, unlike the first two answers. It is ridiculous to write about a $4500 52″ Sony when your budget is $450 and you can only use a 19″ screen.

   I bought a 26″ HDTV RCA for $450.00 it’s got a great sharp picture, excellent color. I could have bought bigger but my living room is not big enough. So this one is fine.
