I have tried connecting my laptop’s RGB output to my HDTV and get a protected content error. I don’t have an issue with actually seeing other content. This just happens when I try to play a DVD. How do I fix?

  1. AM Says:

Your RGB output is not HDCP compliant, so you can not watch protected content (DVDs) via RGB.
You need to get a new video card with DVI (with HDCP) or HDMI.
