		<description>I would call your cable provider and tell them how you are getting HDTV and have them explain to you how to get the captioning going.  From what I understand, the signal is different than analog so can be trickier to get captions to appear on the screen.  Good luck!</description>

		<description>By FCC law, all HDTVs with tuner should support CC.
You must be using a set-top box and somehow closed captioning is not passed to the TV - quite common if you use Component or HDMI cables.
Check the settings of your set-top box.</description>
