How do I get my playstation 2 to work on my new HDTV?

I use to hook it up so it would work through my VCR and on channel 3. But now with HDTV I have to go to input and choose one of the many video options, but none work.

   Connect the red white yellow cable to the back of the tv. Take notice to which input it say where you plug it in at. Then change the video option to the input that you plugged into.

   1. Red white and yellow cable go into the INPUT on the back of your TV ( make sure you dont connect to an output )

   2. Take notice of the input you use and then turn your tv onto its AV channels and pick the AV input that you connected to.

   3. You now have Playstation.
