How do I convince my parents to get HDTV or satellite?

My parents don’t want to get HDTV or satellite, But I want them to. What are some features of HDTV or satellite that I can’t get with cable?

   with satellite you can watch movies for free, play games.
   but satellite can mess up easily when the weather is bad, it usually happens to me since i have satellite.

   we have a satellite, and once we tatsed the sweet offerings of foxtel we never looked back. tell your parents its educational and that they will enjoy it too.

   with satellites, watch out for kookaburas (and other large birds) though. one died right in our dish and we had to get the electrician to fish it out.

   Satellite is cheaper. Cable prices keep going up.
