HD TV and HD reciever.... Now it's up to the TV station to be HD, and the show to be HD also..... I Love Lucy ain't HD, same with All in the Family.... TNT ain't HD, but TNTHD is.... So, look for the HD logo on the TV station first, then look for NEW TV shows during Prime Time....they should have the HD logo pop up at the beginning of the show. Anything else will be Standard definition....... Well you have the 2 parts needed in your home already….

I bought a $50 indoor/outdoor antenna from Radio Shack that I actually mounted to the back of my 50" Hitachi and it works great(indoor). I bought the $100 dollar cables and it helps alot. You need to not use the what I call starter/free cables because they are generic not HDMI. Go to Best Buy and get them. They are wonderful. Then save up for the HD Toshiba DVD player...I have that and it's worth it to me. I love electronic stuff more than some guys I know!!! I have a HD tv set!
