Dish Network wants their old 522 receiver back and I have a lot of recordings on there I want to keep. How do I get those programs off of the 522 Dish DVR and onto my new 722 Dish DVR receiver or an external Hard Drive?

I also wanted to do the same. There is no way to open the box and transfer the contents of harddrive into something. They don’t have a way of connecting your harddrive.
