The maximum bit rate of the best Monster brand HDMI cable is 14.9 Gbps, and I’m wondering if anyone knows the max rate of the Microsoft HDMI cable? I’m assuming it’s a standard low performance cable. Also, does anyone know the eye pattern test conclusion done on a Microsoft HDMI cable?

I want to buy a HDMI cable for my xbox 360, I don’t want to buy the microsoft one, or the ones in best buy, they are like 100 dollars for 6′, gold color plug. There are some on ebay for just 6-7 bucks, same length. Is there any differences?? Picture quality difference?

I had a standard HDMI cable but i needed a longer one. So i bought a new one that was gold plated. It is still shipping in but id like to know whether it makes a big difference compared to my old one.

Connecting a Panasonic 3D HDTV (TX-P50VT20E) together with a PC equipped with an ATI Radeon HD 5970 video card using latest Catalyst 10.10c along with the newest iZ3D Driver over the HDMI interface for use with stereoscopic 3D content.
